Hello! Alexander Bantyev have contacted me with respect to File:Tavkavta Fortress 3.jpg. Do I understand right that the reason for doubting the {{Own}} claim is the lack of Exif data? Alexander Bantyev clarified that he downloaded it from his Nextcloud account, which cleans up Exif data; however, he also has the original file, but he cannot re-upload it under the same filename without the relevant user rights. What is the right course of action now? I can upload the original version file under the same filename for him; or he can send it to you somehow so that it gets re-uploaded with admin rights. - The file is not just lacking Exif data, but has values that usually indicate it is taken from some website. However, using Nextcloud explains those values, so this should be enough to keep the file. --Didym (talk) 21:07, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
